I couldn’t help but to share this article. Last night, while I was doing my usual stuff blogging, I could not publish my post. After hitting the publish button on my dashboard, my page goes into a blank page – totally white space and nothing in it. So I did a lot of research and heavy reading on tutorials, looking a fix before it made me really crazy.
So my problem was blank page after publishing a post. Even worse, I can’t access the dashboard after logging into wp-login.php. Here are some work around and hopefully one works fine just for you.
- Clear your browser cache – this is the simplest suggestion. It might just be a some Cookie problem.
- Try to delete or clear all the cache folders if you are using a caching plugin for your WordPress site.
- If you can still access the Dashboard, try to deactivate all plugins temporarily and see if that does the work.
- Still on the Dashboard and on the Appearance section, choose another theme, check the problem if it still exists then activate back your desired theme.
- If you cannot access the Dashboard at all, access your folders through your CPANEL. Navigate to your plugins folder and add a dot (.) before the folder name
- You can also rename the plugins folder to your desired filename and create an empty dummy folder with the “plugins” filename
- I also learned that blank page is a result of some error in the PHP coding. I would not go into details in this section. But the simplest process in this point is to navigate to your functions.php and delete all extra blank line after the last code line. – This work for me as my experiment :)

Thanks for posting this article. I’m decidedly frustrated with struggling to search out pertinent and intelligent commentary on this issue. Everybody today goes to the very far extremes to either drive home their viewpoint that either: everyone else in the planet is wrong, or two that everyone but them does not really understand the situation. Many thanks for your concise, pertinent insight.
